Ian was born and raised in Bal­ti­more, Mary­land as an only child to two work­ingclass par­ents. Grow­ing up, he had an ac­tive imag­i­na­tion. Ian dis­cov­ered his love for act­ing at a young age when his par­ents took him to a show­ing of the 1989 film “Batman,” star­ring Michael Keaton and Jack Nichol­son.

Af­ter do­ing some high school plays and work­ing back­ground on the HBO se­ries “The Wire,” Ian be­gan to pur­sue his dream of be­com­ing a pro­fes­sion­al ac­tor. He took class­es on au­di­tion prep, On-Cam­era Film & TV study and In­tro­duc­tion to Meis­ner Tech­nique.

He is main­ly known for play­ing Se­cret Ser­vice agents and Body­guards, as well as Law-En­force­ment types. No­table ap­pear­ances in­clude House of Cards(Net­flix), VEEP(HBO),Bil­lions(Show­time) and the Na­tal­ie Port­man film “Jack­ie.”

Ian is a for­mer Iron­work­er who has also worked in the bar/restau­rant in­dus­try. A self-pro­fessed com­ic-book nerd, he en­joys sky-div­ing, scu­ba-div­ing and lift­ing weights.
